The Third Day and the Correct Duration of the Six Days of Creation.

Finally, the "grass", the "herb", the "fruit tree" and the "seed" were not just created on the third day, they grew out of ground on the third day. In Genesis 1:11,12 it says "Let the earth bring forth" and "the earth brought forth". The "herb" that the "earth brought forth" was "yielding seed", and the "fruit" that was "brought forth" had "seed" "in itself". "And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind; and God saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the third day." Genesis 1:11-13. So the "seed", the symbol for Jesus, came out of the ground (or grave) on the third day. This is a prophecy of Christ's resurrection on the third day, & probably represents the Trinity.

The "earth brought forth" by letting the plants and seed grow out of the ground on the third day. Since the third day was longer than a 24 hour period, the plants had time to grow, "These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens, and every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground. But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground." Genesis 2:4,6. Notice the reason for the mist was to water the ground so that the plants could grow, and that this was BEFORE there was a man to till the ground. Man was created on the sixth day.

The "lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night" and "for signs and for seasons, and for days and years" and "to divide the light from the darkness" (Genesis 1:14,18) was created on the fourth day. The Bible definition for a day is an evening and a morning. Not 24 hours. Joshua fought a battle on a long day that was greater than 24 hours, Joshua 10:13. At the North Pole a day is one year because there is "six months of complete sunlight and six months of total darkness"-Encyclopedia Britanica 15th Edition. So the "grass", the "herb", the "fruit tree" and the "seed" grew out of the ground on the third day and had time to grow since the first three days of creation were probably greater than 24 hours. The 24 hour period for a normal day probably started then on the fourth day. No, the theory of evolution could not be possible-see the Second Law of Thermodynamics and see DNA science. The Evolution Theory has been documented to have been around at least since the first century. It is an old idea that has never had any proof.

As mentioned above, the fact that the plants and the "seed", the symbol for Jesus, were created and grew out of the ground on the third day of creation is a prophecy and a symbol for the third day resurrection from the dead and the grave and the EARTH of Jesus Christ.

"For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the EARTH." Matthew 12:40.

"From that time forth began Jesus to show unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day." Matthew 16:21.

"And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again." Matthew 20:19.

"Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again." Luke 24:7.

"Saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon.....Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have........And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day."Luke 24:34,39,46.

Other verses in the New Testament about the third day resurrection of Jesus are Matthew 17:23, Matthew 27:64, Mark 9:31, Mark 10:34, Luke 9:22, Luke 13:32, Luke 18:33, Acts 10:40 and others. There are many prophecies in the Old Testament about the third day resurrection of Christ: Jonah in the whale as mentioned above (see the book of Jonah), when God tested Abraham to sacrifice his "only" son on the third day (see Genesis chapter 22), the people of Moses wanting Pharaoh to let them take a three day journey to give sacrifice unto their God (see Exodus 3:18) as well as many other symbols and prophecies in the Old Testament.

All of the above is proof that the third day resurrection of Jesus Christ was prophesied on the third day of creation. And that the first religion on earth was Christianity. And that the only true belief is Christianity.
